Manuel Ulacia (1953-2001) was a great Mexican poet and a master of the long poem, leaving two melodious and haunting long poems: Origami For A Rainy Day (Origami para un dia de lluvia) and The Blue Plate (El plato azul) as well as several collections of occasional lyric poems.
