MONA ZOTE

Mona Zote is a poet living in Aizawl, India, a chronic dabbler in paints, inks and pencil, cat and tree aficionado and random city perambulator. Her poetry has appeared in various journals including the Cordite Poetry Review, Indian Literature, IQ Magazine, India International Centre Quarterly, Carapace as well as in anthologies such as Dancing Earth: An Anthology of Poetry from North-East India, the Oxford Anthology of Writings from North-East India, and Mountain and Steppe: Eco-poetries from Eastern Asia. She makes the occasional foray into non-fiction and has been taking her first steps into fiction, having found that some things in life are more amenable to treatment in prose.
