Thangjam Ibopishak is a leading Manipuri poet who lives in Imphal. He won the Sahitya Akademi award in 1997. His poems have appeared in Dancing Earth: An Anthology of Poetry from North-East India (Penguin India) and Poetry International Web (PIW).
