As you see it / JETHE JE PAAHE TETHE THE AAHE by Muktabai

Translated from original Marathi by Jerry Pinto and Neela Bhagwat

As you see it, so it is.
The Vedas say: reality stands with arms outstretched.
Where else would you see these streams of
moonlight?

All that you’ve learnt,
All that you believe
Shows you a vision of yourself.
And yet we’re supposed to be one.
And yet there’s only one soul.

Muktabai says: A sign of liberation?
Look for a being bright with compassion.
