I by Sachal Sarmast

O! Two-winged feathered creature, did you give all my messages to my beloved,
and how I live in despair without him

In a mansion so immense,
I am desolate without you,
Imprisoned by fate my thoughts advance to Allah

Rice or sweet churma, new food items come my way every day,
my eyes glance at the country roads,
reminiscing you, my eyes fill up with tears

I drink the poisonous chalice of love,
filled to the brim, without you my sweetheart,
do I live or should I die?

For the sake of sorrow, I reside in this country,
Sachu says that in the eyes of the inner soul,
memories revisit as he cries on
