DAVID NEED

David Need is a scholar and poet who teaches South Asian Religions and International Comparative Studies at Duke University. His recent scholarship includes papers on Jack Kerouac and Buddhism, and on the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke, as well as translations and essays on Rig Vedic poetry and ritual. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Fascicle, Effing Magazine, Minor American, Ocho, Dead Mule, Talisman, Hambone, and Golden Handcuff’s Review. He curates the Arcade Taberna reading series hosted at his house in Durham.
