ALICE MILLER

Alice Miller is a writer from New Zealand living in Vienna. She is the author of The Limits (Shearsman Books and Auckland University Press), and Blaue Stunde (Edition Solitude). She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and the International Institute of Modern Letters. Miller’s writing has appeared in Boston Review, Narrative, Oxford Poetry, BBC Travel, Poetry London, Landfall, The Iowa Review, and The American Scholar. She has received the BNZ Katherine Mansfield Award, the Royal Society of NZ Manhire Prize, a Glenn Schaeffer Fellowship, and has travelled to Antarctica courtesy of Antarctica New Zealand. In 2014, she was a summer resident at the Michael King Centre, a visiting writer at Massey University, and a Grimshaw Sargeson Fellow. From 2015-2016, she was a fellow at the Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart.
