Neither more nor less by James Byrne

Self others you as someone else.
Metamorphia of Wilde’s Dorian,
the man who rode his own hearse.
Pinta un gorilla. Human revision.
The ass’s face mutates a canvas,
is brushed into life by a monkey.
Portrait in a gallery of aristocrats,
the likeness distorts like money.
