Nancy Naomi Carlson has authored seven titles (4 translated). She received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to translate The Nomads, My Brothers, Go Out to Drink from the Big Dipper by Abdourahman Waberi, which was a “Best Translated Book Award” finalist. Her translation of Hammer with No Master by René Char was a finalist for the Firecracker Awards for Poetry by the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses. www.nancynaomicarlson.com
