Poetry at Sangam
Poetry at Sangam showcases poetry in English and translations as well as essays on poetics and news of new releases.
Although Shailza is a quiet sort of being who loves the company of plants, animals and sometimes people, she often has bursts of anxious thoughts and ideas and unprocessed energy. Some of these find their way into short, intensely felt verses and pen and ink illustrations. Then there are other thoughts, calmer in nature, that stem from her abiding interest in the arts, publishing, museum and exhibition making, fields she has worked in since 2013.
She also enjoys working with children and young adults and is currently developing a participatory learning module that incorporates the arts and museums and, has two children books in anvil, that she is scared to show to anyone and only speaks of in passing lest she forget.
