Originally from the UK, Mags Webster is currently based in Australia and completing a PhD in Creative Writing at Murdoch University in Western Australia, exploring ways in which poetry can come closer to expressing ‘the ineffable.’ Mags holds an MFA in Creative Writing (poetry) from City University of Hong Kong, a BA with First Class Honours in English and Creative Writing from Murdoch University, and BA (Hons) in English and Drama from the University of Kent, UK. Her poetry collection The Weather of Tongues (Sunline Press) won the national Anne Elder Award (2011) for best debut collection published in Australia.
