Poetry at Sangam
Poetry at Sangam showcases poetry in English and translations as well as essays on poetics and news of new releases.
Usha Akella has authored nine books of poetry that include two musical dramas. Her next book is due from Spinifex Press, Australia, and her last poetry book The Waiting was published by the Sahitya Akademi followed by a bi-lingual version published by Mantis Editores Press, Mexico. She graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2018. She co-hosts a website of interviews at www.thepov.com. Widely published and featured in international poetry festivals, most close to her heart is her project Matwaala (www.matwaala.com), a poetry festival launched to increase the visibility of poets from the South Asian diaspora.
