Poetry at Sangam showcases poetry in English and translations as well as essays on poetics and news of new releases.
Ali Kinsella’s co-translations with Dzvinia Orlowsky, Eccentric Days of Hope and Sorrow: Poems by Natalka Bilotserkivets (Lost Horse Press, 2021), was shortlisted for the 2022 International Griffin Poetry Prize. She co-edited Love in Defiance of Pain: Ukrainian Stories (Deep Vellum Press, 2022), an anthology in support of Ukrainians during the war. Her other published translations include pieces by Lyubko Deresh, Kseniya Fuchs, Kateryna Kalytko, Halyna Kruk, Myroslav Laiuk, Vasyl Makhno, and Olena Stiazhkina.
