Poetry at Sangam
Poetry at Sangam showcases poetry in English and translations as well as essays on poetics and news of new releases.
Chinmayee Hansdah-Marandi was born in 1981 in Rairangpur (Odisha) and lives in Jhargram (West Bengal). She is a polyglot who can communicate in five languages: Santali, Odia, English, Hindi, and Bengali. She has to her credit five books of poetry in Santali: Potkoj (Bloom, 2005), Amon (Grow, 2013), Baha Rege Bhanwar Mone (The Bumblebee Has His Mind On The Flower, 2022), Bale (Infant, 2022), and Poha (Sapling, 2022). At the time this bio note was being written, Chinmayee Hansdah-Marandi was in Delhi, working with the NCERT in translating a Hindi book into Santali.
