CONFUSION by Tabish Khair

The point about Purgatory is
That there are no clocks in it,
And hence you never know
If and when it will end.

Though, of course, it is bound
To end someday. That much
You know.

In other words,
It is impossible to distinguish it from
Life on Earth.
