Siddharth Dasgupta is a Poet & Novelist; he has written three books thus far. The most recent of these – The Sacred Sorrow of Sparrows – has met with strong commentary for its exploration of sadness, as played out through a markedly ethnic prism. His first collection of poetry – The Wanderlust Conspiracy – uses prose poetry, free verse, and small flashes of storytelling in offering homage to the desirability of travel and movement.
Siddharth’s poetry & fiction have appeared in a gamut of global literary journals, including Kyoto Journal, Entropy, Litro, Cha, and the Bombay Literary Review. Off-and-on, Siddharth also explores travel and culture for a gathering of well-regarded publications. His most recent publishing credit is thirteen poems in Stories from Hampi House – an Anthology stemming from ‘The Unfestival’ – a writers’ conclave held in Hampi. He lives in the Indian city of Poona.
