Poetry at Sangam
Poetry at Sangam showcases poetry in English and translations as well as essays on poetics and news of new releases.
Soibam Haripriya is presently a Fellow at Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (IIAS), Shimla. She has taught at the Centre for Sociology and Social Anthropology, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati campus and Gender Studies Programme, Ambedkar University. Her poems have appeared in the bi-monthly journal of Sahitya Akademi— Indian Literature (2017). The recent anthologies where her poems are featured include A Map Called Home (2018), Centrepiece (2017) and 40 under 40: An Anthology of Post-Globalisation Poetry (2016). Her present research examines the scope of using poetry in social anthropology, especially in the context of writing ethnography in violent times.
